This lesson, Color identification, teaches the names/labels of the basic colors. Vocabulary can be taught either receptively (touch/physical response) or expressively (Speech, Sign, PECS). Colors are an example of “descriptors” or “attributes” which will work to help the child describe objects and expand his/her vocabulary.
