The lesson, Basic memory skills: What is missing?, teaches the basic ability to observe a series of images and retain this information mentally when those images are removed. This lesson helps a child develop the skill of retaining information to relay at a later time.
The development of basic memory skills, assists the child in all areas of learning, both academically and socially. It also helps the child in developing the ability to relay experiences or incidents, giving him or her the ability to tell a parent or guardian if something unsavory occurred, and eventually to answer simple questions such as “How was school today?”
